Now with the rest of my thoughts on the future of the MCU Phase 2 will play out. Some thoughts were from an earlier post I did, just updated.

Captain America 2:
I believe the Winter Soldier will be the workings of a form of the super soldier serum plus possibly one of the Infinity Gems(that might be a stretch though). I also believe at the end, he will become a hero whether that means Steve Rogers dies or not. As noted the Winter Soldier was brainwashed and transformed into what he has become. Another example of the DECEPTION theme as noted in Part 1.

Robert Redford's character Alexander Pierce could go two ways with this. He could be the actual villain in the movie, which just says Iron Man 3 all over again. Whether he is the Red Skull or not. I hope he isn't the Red Skull just because you would be using the same villain again as the first movie. I understand Loki has been in three films. If Pierce is the villain, I could see him using that front as the senior leader in SHIELD/World Council Member to commission the building of Ultron, through Tony Stark with possible design from Hank Pym (see Part 1). Which would make sense because through the Age of Ultron Comic-Con footage, Ultron comes out from the Iron Man mask. Pierce could also use AIM or HAMMER to create Ultron from prototypes of Stark's. This would possibly play into the "All Hail The King" One-Shot especially if Justin Hammer is in that.

The other way Robert Redford's character could go is in the sense, that he is the original Nick Fury, and Samuel L. Jackson's character is a lie, produced to protect SHIELD's interest. That way SLJ's Nick Fury could die in the film, but we find the Redford's character is the original. That be a great twist. Again both examples of Redford's character is the theme of DECEPTION.

Guardians of The Galaxy:
This will be the movie that is distance from all of the other Phase 2 movies but will have the most impact in Phase 3. I believe which has pretty much been figured out that the orb they are searching for is an Infinity Gem though I don't know which one. If I had to guess I would say the Time Gem. In the end, Thanos gets his hands on one or two of the Infinity Gems or the Gauntlet itself. I also believe that the Guardians are on the run for the wrong reason, and someone has set them up.

Avengers: Age of Ultron
Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will be on the opposite side against the Avengers at the beginning of the movie. I believe they will be Inhumans and would have been taken at a young age and watched over by Hydra/AIM. They will think they are on the right side of the law, but in actuality their backing Hydra/AIM. I believe War Machine, will die in this movie along with Hawkeye. Both will go out on a mission with Ultron, unknowing that Ultron has turned evil and kill them. It will send a shockwave through the team, plus War Machine and Hawkeye trust in the idea Ultron/SHIELD/Government, will be there downfall. Their deaths lead Tony to become Iron Man again. I also believe at the end of the film the Avengers will be on the run, hunted by the government and society. As both do not trust them fully. Again both this film and Guardians of the Galaxy show the theme of DECEPTION.

So far this season of AGENTS of SHIELD, has had an underlining theme of DECEPTION to it. Coulson's resurrection and Skye's mystery of her parents show this theme. I see that theme continuing up to the Captain America tie-in episode and also the season finale. I believe season 2, which will happen in my mind, will be all about REDEMPTION, which will be the big theme of Phase 3.

Check out Part 3 where I discuss my view on Phase 3, how REDEMPTION is the main theme. Thanks always for reading and commenting.

Great ideas. But Robert Redford will die in CATWS. He cant be in the long term plans for the obvios reasons. As gfar as Ultron goes. This will be a plot twist because Ultron must be made of something other that iron. I think the tech from the helmet may be used. But using that as a template for Ultron physically. I dont think it would make sense. The Guardians of the Galaxy will be in possession of the Soul Gem hence the reference to Adam Warlock in TDW I would presume. I like the the overall ideas of what you are saying and the direction and effort you have put into your editorial

I do not belive QS Or SW are inhuman, I think their origins are tied to the infinity stones. QS Time, SW Reality...

No. If anyone dies, it needs to be Hawkeye. Not Black Widow. Rhodey wouldn't be bad either.

Have Black Widow go rogue for awhile. Could tie-in to DD on the Netflix series.

I love your theories. Hoof article.

I think it would be better if Black Widow and Hawkeye where to be killed off in AoU to make the team roster a bit more interesting especially if QS and SW are going to be joining The Avengers.
