One. More. Day. - At this time tomorrow, we'll be deep into the second half of Super Bowl LI where hopefully the game is going exactly how we want it to go...

Earlier today, Sony Pictures released a very tense new TV spot for their upcoming space sci-fi thriller Life, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal (Nocturnal Animals), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), and Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation) in the lead roles as three astronauts who discover the hard way that some things are better off left alone.

Daniel Espinosa (Safe House) directed with a script from Deadpool scribes Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick. Plot details, for the most part, have been kept under wraps until now, but the new synopsis does shed some light on the extinction-level horror our six protagonists will face: "Life is a terrifying sci-fi thriller about a team of scientists aboard the International Space Station whose mission of discovery turns to one of primal fear when they find a rapidly evolving life form that caused extinction on Mars, and now threatens the crew and all life on Earth."

In addition to the Big Game spot, which you can view below, a new full-length trailer is expected to debut during the Super Bowl pre-game show, ahead of tomorrow night's matchup between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons.

Plus, here's a new poster:

Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research and their methods end up having unintended consequences, the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.

Life features:
DIrector: Daniel Espinosa
Jake Gyllenhaal as Dr. David Jordan
Rebecca Ferguson as Miranda Bragg
Ryan Reynolds as Roy Adams
Hiroyuki Sanada as Sho Kendo
Ariyon Bakare as Hugh Derry
Olga Dihovichnaya as Katerina Golovkin
Alexandre Nguyen in an undisclosed role

Life hits theaters March 24

@ComicsBornAndBred - I know, some parts it seemed like it wanted to be like the Alien franchise.

@TheNewGuy123 - James McAvoy deserves some kind of award recognition for his performance.

Especially for that Hedwig dance.

@TheNewGuy123 - Oh my god.........

To be fair, the Fast and Furious franchise has betrayed the laws of physics for so long, Dom has turned into an actual Superhero.

Dom vs The Horde, why not.

@Menks123 - right??

I mean, I can't see him as Prof X anymore.

And that twist ending pumped me up, even though I've never seen..the other film, just the basic knowledge of the premise.

Although, I didn't really find it terrifying. It was more of a thriller to me.

@ILoveTandA - Haley Bennett may or may not be the new Catwoman. Her Instagram activity is interesting. There's even a pic that looks like the short haired Selena Kyle popularized by Ed Brubaker walked right off the comic page and took a selfie. So either she has been cast for Gotham City Sirens, or even The Batman, or she is in a fan film or something. Idk.
