With press screenings taking place tomorrow, it really shouldn't be too long before we get our first batch of American reactions to Univeral's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which has already been receiving high praise from all across the globe.
In a recent interview with Fandango, director J.A. Bayona shared an interesting tidbit on how he plans on surprising audiences later this month and it sure sounds like the upcoming sequel will be the scariest entry in the entire Jurassic franchise. "I think the audience doesn't expect the gothic tone of the second half of the film. After an incredible adventure on the island with amazing action scenes, the film takes us to Lockwood mansion, the place where the first dinosaurs were created. It's a place with a claustrophobic atmosphere and some of the best tension-filled moments that have ever happened in a Jurassic movie. It also has a very special tone that resembles a fairy tale, with its castle, princess and even a dragon. I think it's something the young ones will enjoy."

It’s been four years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles.
When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.
