JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM Wraps Production; Chris Pratt Expected To Begin AVENGERS 4 Later This Month

...and that's a wrap on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom! The fifth Jurassic adventure has completed principal photography and will now head into an extensive post-production to prep for its June 2018 debut!

After commencing production in late February, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has finally completed principal photography. Director J.A. Bayona took to Twitter last night to make the announcement and was soon followed by posts from producers Frank Marshall and Colin Trevorrow.

While it was previously rumored that we may get our first trailer for the highly anticipated film at San Diego Comic-Con next week, it looks increasingly unlikely now as it has been confirmed that Universal Pictures will not be in attendance at the annual convention. This likely means that we may have to wait until November, just like the last film, to get a proper look at the upcoming blockbuster.

On another note, with Chris Pratt now wrapped on Jurassic, he'll get a month or so off before he heads back to Pinewood Studios in Atlanta to film the second part of the epic Phase 3 finale, the still-untitled Avengers 4, which is expected to begin production late July/early August.

This is the fifth film in the Jurassic Park (1993) franchise and the second film in the Jurassic World (2015) trilogy.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom features:
Director: J.A. Bayona
Chris Pratt as Owen Grady
Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing
B.D. Wong as Dr. Henry Wu
Toby Jones in an undisclosed role
Rafe Spall in an undisclosed role
Justice Smith in an undisclosed role
Daniella Pineda in an undisclosed role
Ted Levine in an undisclosed role
James Cromwell as Benjamin Lockwood
Geraldine Chaplin in an undisclosed role
Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will roar into theaters June 22

That seemed pretty quick, damn. Hope this is better; the first one is incredibly bland.

Also hope, he has a big role in Avengers 4. I'm expecting the main players in these films to be Cap, Stark, Thor, Strange and Quill.

@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - Those two cliche kids killed the movie for me. Everything else was fine, and pretty decent.

Love the JP films, I hope they take this in a different direction than the park malfunctioning on an island. It seems in the last one they might be trying to use the dinosaurs as weapons, which could be a cool direction if done right.
