Chewbacca, Finn And Poe Are On A Mission In New Set Photos From STAR WARS: EPISODE IX

Lucasfilm is known for keeping details on their Star Wars films unde wraps, but even they can't stop a few photos from the set of Episode IX from finding their way online. Check them out after the jump.

As usual, Lucasfilm is keeping details on Star Wars: Episode IX under wraps, but like previous installments in the franchise, a few set photos from the J.J. Abrams-directed film have surfaced online.

The images aren't too revealing, but they do feature familiar characters like Poe Dameron (Oscar Issac) and John Boyega's Finn. It's hard to discern what the Resistance heroes are doing, but it looks like they are on some kind a mission alongside the iconic Wookiee Chewbacca.

While the returning characters are the easiest to see, some fans believe they've also spotted Naomi Ackie's mysterious, unnamed character.

Looks cool - especially the horses.
Without the CGI it just looks like Indiana Jones.

Saw it was Star Wars article...check. Looked to see if it was Josh post... Nope. Check. Took a look at photos of the new Star Wars movie... Felt nothing, zero,nada. Why?...

Speaking of Oscar Isaac: I saw an advanced screening of Operation Finale, a movie with him and Ben Kingsley, last night. It starts off kinda slow, and I have a few other issues with, but it gets a lot better as it goes along, and Isaac and Kingsley are fantastic. I'd recommend it.
