Disney has sent out its 2018 preview of upcoming movie releases and among them is Solo: A Star Wars Story. That's despite the fact that there's still no sign of the trailer and while pretty much everyone is convinced the spinoff will be delayed, the studio reiterates that it will be released on May 25th.
We do at least have the official logo for Solo alongside a new plot synopsis and that sheds a little more light on what we should expect. Needless to say, it's pretty much exactly what we've all imagined!
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
So, yeah, not the biggest reveal but it's something to keep us going! Rumours about when the trailer will be released continue to do the rounds but nothing has been made official beyond director Ron Howard's Tweet indicating that it will be with us at some point. Some fans are theorising that Solo is going to be released without a trailer and it's hard not to think that could be the case at this stage.
