STAR WARS: Official Movie And TV Show Timeline Revealed By Lucasfilm At D23 Expo

Since 2015, the Star Wars Universe has expanded massively, & during a presentation at this weekend's D23, Lucasfilm shared a timeline which reveals where all the old and upcoming movies and TV shows land.

This year's D23 delivered a lot of great surprises, and during the Star Wars portion of the Walt Disney Studios panel, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy revealed an official timeline which explains where each of the big and small screen adventures in a Galaxy Far, Far Away fit in.

There are no great surprises here, but we do learn that each era has a different name; there's the "Age of Republic," the "Age of Rebellion," and the "Age of Resistance."

Interestingly, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series will take place after Solo and long before Star Wars Rebels, and that's bound to leave fans wondering about the possibility of the Jedi Master finally crossing paths with Darth Maul again in a live-action setting. For now, though, we'll have to wait and see!

Actually, if you look closely, Solo spans a few years (hence the bracket) because there is a time gap between when Han leaves Corellia and when he meets back up with the girl (totally forgot her name already because it was that foregettable) and Obi-Wan takes place in the middle of that timeframe, not after.

Yeah Obi-wan takes place in the middle of Solo. I think they said 8 years after Sith, so closer to Episode 3 than to Episode 4.

Does Solo point to 2 different spots on timeline?

@KingCipher- yeah, the problems are still here. Sometimes you can reply to a comment, or like a comment, or move to page 2 of comments, other times you can't. I hope that the extra time that it is taking to fix this problem ensures that something like this never happens again.

@TheDoctor1225 alright the first time he did it I was willing to give him a pass cause some people said he was just trying to be funny. Now hes making it a bit personal.

I’m still confused about Solo spanning so many years. Exactly at what point in the movie does a time jump take place, because to me it felt like a story that spans a week tops

So there can't be a time jump in Kenobi? 11-12 years later title card, Ewan McGregor CGI Kenobi runs into Darth Maul. Anything can happen, it all depends on the script.
