STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Clip Sees The Trilogy's New Heroes Taking On The First Order

We've heard a lot about Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker bringing together Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron and that's exactly what we get in this clip as they face off with The First Order on a Star Destroyer!

A new clip from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was revealed on Fornite last night and if you don't play the game, don't fret, because we have you covered!

As you can see in the player below, it kicks off with Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron sneaking aboard a First Order Star Destroyer and taking down some Stormtroopers. However, after coming face to face with even more of the villains, Rey uses her Jedi powers to trick the unwitting soldiers into letting them pass (something Poe can't help but wonder whether Rey has done to them).

This is only the second clip from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and time will tell how much more Disney and Lucasfilm choose to reveal over the next few days. Some of the TV spots have certainly started getting a little spoilery but the entire plot for the movie is also online if you look hard enough!

Check out the clip below and stay tuned for much more from the film this week!

I'll watch it, not really excited for it though. Also
If this movie bombs or makes a lot less than the previous films, you can't really blame sexism or "toxic" fans, both previous films were major successes at the box office, the fans gave them a fair shot

@dracula - I high doubt this movie will bomb. And when it doesn’t, it will show how insignificant the “toxic” fans truly are.

@LiteralSense90 - hopefully you are right, hopefully this movie can move past the faults of this mismanaged trilogy and just give us a fun star wars movie. If revenge of the sith could do it, they should be able too. Although i do think they do call people toxic too often now adays. Henry Cavil actually had some stuff to say on the subject. You cant please everyone. Sure there are always the vocal minority of men who dont want to see women in the lead roles, just like there are the vocal minority of feminists who too fare do tend to blame any criticism on sexism. Personally i just want a good movie.

I doubt it will bomb either, but i think there is a strong possibility it wont be the massive hit disney wants. Look at what happened with Solo

@LiteralSense90 - criticizing a female led film doesnt make someone toxic. Just because a female led film is criticized doesnt mean its being criticized because it has a female lead. But yeah there are toxic fans, specifically the ones who harass actors and insult them personally.

Personally i blame a lot of the drama that has poped up over the past 3 years on ghost busters 2016. Fans didnt like it thats fine, but some obviously took things too far with some of the ways they chose to criticize it, but then the cast made things worst, insulting the entire fan base. After that seems like both sides got fed up and are now are constantly trying to find ways to attack each other

@dracula - There's no way this flick "bombs", but it's quite possible it "underperforms". The fanbase is pretty split, with a lot of older fans who grew up with OT in the 70's-80's having given up on these new films. I think the law of diminishing returns will be in effect and this one will earn less then TLJ and this trilogy will end with a fizzle.

@kylo0607 - hopefully its good, its obvious this trilogy was mismanaged, but its still possible to make a good movie, like while people are pretty mixed on Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones, id say most people liked Revenge Of The Sith

@dracula - I don't care - it's Star Wars and I am excited.

Sure, TLJ had its problems, but it was still an enjoyable experience and as I said - it was still Star Wars.

I prefer to enjoy everything SW-related and focus on the positive stuff rather than hating on it.

And TROS certainly looks good!

I have this horrible image in my head. We see a fleet of Star Destroyers approaching their target. Any target, it doesn't really matter what it is but for the sake of illustration let's say its puppies. Suddenly we see a flash of light as Carol Danvers appears and proceeds to fly through all the ships. Then we roll credits.

I love Captain Marvel but they did go a teensy weensy bit over the top at the end there.

This new trilogy, will be the reverse of the Prequel trilogy in terms of divisive reviews.

Revenge of the Sith/The Force Awakens: it did the job, whilst being fun.
Attack of the Clones/The Last Jedi: wtf was that?
The Phantom Menace/The Rise of Skywalker: oh boy gimme the nostalgia, even the guy that did the first ones coming back! Yeee-... wtf was that? What have you done to my precious Star Wars GOD DAMN IT

Why does Rey still carry that staff?

"Fortnite *EXCLUSIVE*"

But this looks really good! I love the look of Force Awakens and this seems to follow that style. Also it's cool to finally see Rey, Finn and Poe together and I like that Rey is using more force powers. Here's hoping that this turns out well!

That clip was so underwhelming and felt a little comical from the brainwashed ST.
