THE DARK TOWER: Details On Junkie XL's Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Have Been Released
Sony Masterworks has announced the release date and unveiled the full track list for Junkie XL's upcoming The Dark Tower Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Come take a look! Potential spoilers!
After Baby Driver and Spider-Man: Homecoming, Sony Pictures is on quite the run, but can they make it three-for-three this August with their very ambitious adaptation of The Dark Tower? Only time will tell.
Sony Masterworks announced today that the film's Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will hit stores day-and-date with the theatrical release on August 4. The album will feature twenty-nine original compositions from Tom Holkenborg a.k.a. Junkie XL, whose previous scores include Mad Max: Fury Road, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Black Mass.
The album art has yet-to-be-revealed, but it is currently available to pre-order on Amazon.

There are other worlds than these. Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, the ambitious and expansive story from one of the world’s most celebrated authors, makes its launch to the big screen. The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, also known as the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle as only Roland can defend the Tower from the Man in Black.
