Ra. One is an upcoming Hindi science-fiction superhero film directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film, which features Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, will be produced under Khan's production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. According to Khan, "Ra.One" means "Random Access - Version 1.0". The film was scheduled to be released on 3 June 2011,but was later pushed back due to extensive post production work.


BobIketsuUzumaki: According to some (unconfirmed but reliable) sources, Shah Rukh Khan will play a programmer called Jeevan who enters a game as G.One to fight a virus or something known as Ra.One played by Arjun Rampal. It will boast of amazing special effects and death defying stunts. A video game of the same name will also be released that will expand the universe of the movie. And it won't release in 3D, contrary to popular belief.

have you seen the movie? We know the title of the movie, and that it has something to do with computers. Other that that, just speculation. So, let's just wait until we actually see the movie before we make comments like this.

According to Ed Glaser, Bollywood is notorious for making remakes of popular films, because some areas are unable to gain the film, so they decide to create their own version. Think the Asylum but with more flair for over the top-ness and longer run times.

@Naji....ok, this one example gets away with it. We don't typically hear about Indian based movies on this site even if they are about some form of hero, so we naturally assume that if it looks like tron and sounds like tron, then the concession is that its a tron rip off....like if you checked out movie bobs blog he mentioned one movie called Endhiran, was that a really good too?

as far as i know bollywood only rips off big known hollywood movies and lets be honest the 1st tron wasnt known by every one like star wars is, even though it sounds a lot like it i will wait till the trailer hits before i start saying its a copy of tron.
