Below is a poster for the 3D release of Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. Universal Pictures will release the film on April 5, 2013, to celebrate its 20th anniversary.


A lot of great films have been getting a 3D release lately, so we'll see how the post-conversion turns out on this one. The trailer for Jurassic Park 3D will be released tomorrow on Yahoo! Movies. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the film stars Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Richard Attenborough.

I have no want or need to see a 20 year old movie in 3D. It'll look awful. That'd be like seeing the original King Kong in 3D...actually that sounds like a lot more fun.

@KelvTwelve ya i agree completley you people are eefing stupid jurrasic park is a classic! N rereleases are awesome! Waaaaaaay better than remakes!! Everytime i hear remake or reboot i think why not rerelease it?

2 things...
1. 3D blows ass and it pisses me off when movies are re-released in 3D just to cash out some more... but most likely they'll have some 2D showings so maybe I'll catch that (just because it is a good flick).
2. It's shit like this that reminds me of how old I am. [frick].

I wore this VHS out when I was a kid. Did the same thing to Return of the Jedi. Can't wait for this...and now I feel old.
