GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS - Epic New TV Spot Makes It Clear That Our World Is Now Ruled By Titans

Warner Bros. has released a minute-long Godzilla: King of the Monsters TV spot which features plenty of epic new footage as we watch these ancient monsters turn our world into their personal playground...

2019 is shaping up to be an amazing year for blockbusters and Godzilla: King of the Monsters looks set to keep that momentum going this May. Now, Warner Bros. has released another TV spot, and this one puts the spotlight on quite a lot of new footage from the highly anticipated sequel.

There are a lot of great shots of monsters like Rodan and Mothra in action, while we get to hear a fantastic line when one character points out that, "This is Godzilla's world...we just live in it."

We know that the plan is for Godzilla to square off with King Kong after this movie, but there's currently no word on who will be the "hero" and "villain" in that story. We're bound to get some major hints about this sure- to-be epic clash in King of the Monsters, though, and that should be a lot of fun as it seems Warner Bros. is trying to build a shared universe of sorts here.

Check out the TV spot below and stay tuned for more updates on this one as we have them.

To be honest, the both Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island were movies that I didn't really need to watch in cinemas, but this? Now this is something I want to see on the biggest screen possible

I get they had to slow-roll the first one out to establish a lot of this world, but this sequel looks a lot more fresh and the human characters and writing seems to be a bit more entertaining and interesting. Without shoving the whole roster of monsters in, I feel like they could have improved on the first movie's execution like they seem to have here.

I mean, historically the world has always been ruled by monsters ...

The trailer looks neat, though.
