Love and Monsters premieres at home and in select theaters on October 16th from Paramount Pictures, and takes place seven years after the "Monsterpocalypse." Humanity has been forced to hide underground, but Joel (Dylan O'Brien, The Maze Runner) decides to embark on a mission to reunite with his high school girlfriend Aimee (Jessica Henwick, Iron Fist) after reconnecting with her over the radio. However, with dangerous monsters standing in his way, their reunion isn't going to be easy.

Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) and Ariana Greenblatt (Avengers: Infinity War) are also part of the cast, and they are the focus of this exclusive new video as they explore the role Clyde and Minnow play in this epic journey into the Monsterpocalypse. O'Brien, Rooker, and Greenblatt all tease the connection their characters find on the surface, while delving into what makes Clyde and his young companion different to those who hide underground.

There's some awesome behind the scenes footage here, too, as well as plenty of insight into what fans can expect from Love and Monsters when it makes its highly anticipated premiere this Friday.

We'll be sharing our review of the movie tomorrow, and stay tuned as we also have interviews with stars Jessica Henwick and Ariana Greenblatt, as well as director Michael Matthews on the way!

I don’t need to see another trailer or a review. I’ve always been a sucker for Romantic comedies so I’m in. No matter how dumb it is to travel into a monsterpocalypse lol
