Video Tip #2 - Space Is a Great Place to Meet Girls

Don't be afraid of cross-species romance. The universe is full of horny alien women asking the same question, "What is this emotion you call... LOVE?" As Captain of the Enterprise, Starfleet's flagship, you have a lot of clout with the ladies -- leverage you can use to get some intergalactic action. If you play your cards right, you'll find that the big bang isn't just a theory. So, go for it. Just be wary of the green ones.

Video Tip #3 - Never Wear the Red Shirt!

Listen very carefully now. YOU always wear the yellow shirt. Spock and Bones wear the blue ones. It's important you don't forget this -- especially when going on an away mission. Whenever you leave the Enterprise, which you will because the Captain never stays with the ship, ALWAYS take along at least one crew member in a red shirt. They don't have names, but are easy to spot. Don't forget. I'm serious about this.

Video Tip #5 - Spock, Your Special Friend

From the first episode, Spock and I had a unique chemistry. While that Sylar guy who's playing the new Spock seems a little creepy to me, the success of J.J.'s new Star Trek depends on you two developing that special relationship. Here are a few scenes to help you get into the mood.

Video Tip #11 - Give Props to Lucas

Star Trek or Star Wars? Nerds the world over have bloodied themselves battling with plastic light sabers over which franchise is greater. But no matter which one holds your allegiance, everyone agrees that George Lucas gets credit for bringing about the golden age of the sci-fi space movie. Be gracious and give the man his props, whenever asked.

I wonder how many little Kriks' are out there in the galaxy? Wow Kirk is a pimp, he not only got alien woman but alien men too. Those red shirts must be like bulleyes to aliens, did anybody notice that everytime a guy died it was pretty much the same set? But wow those are funny.

It doesn't matter Spock.

Star wars can kick Trek's ass any day. just because it lead the way for star wars, it means nothing. "the student has become the master." *mimics bruce lee fighting sounds*

that being said, I too am a fan of both, and i can't wait to see this movie ^_^

(also. i highly doubt you will, but don't get all denfensive about this comment. both rock and i'm all hyper cuz of the 2 monsters i just drank :P)

Yeah i used to think Star Wars was the daddy until those abominations of prequels came along. But Trek has its fair share of turkeys aswell. One thing ill say for Star Wars, at least they put some thought into there aliens and dont just stick a few ridges on there nose or head!

This was pretty sweet. The Kirk/Spock thing was funny but I hate it when they do that lol pisses me off. I pretty much just greatly love both Star Trek and Star Wars. Each has it's own awesomeness, they shouldn't be compared.

Well i´m a Star Wars Fan. all my life i´ve been. I remember the Star Trek show-repetitions when i was a kid in the 80´s, and i thought: "oh that´s cool". but never comared them with the original SW movies.

And for those who don´t like the prequels, well, i think they have their flaws of course, but being a hard core fan sometimes makes me not to be very imparcial about critizising the prequels... some lame acting though, JAR JAR binks of course.. the mithiclorians..well what the hell OK there is A LOT of flaws but i think this is not the time to talk about this..
...i think i´ll do an article about it and see what you guys in the CBM.com community think about it.
