Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong'o (12 Years a Slave, Non-Stop) is apparently "extremely close" to signing on for a role in J.J Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII. Who will she be playing? Rumour has it that it'll be a Sith! Hit the jump for details.
According to Latino-Review, the latest addition to the cast of Star Wars Episode VII is none other than Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o. She wowed critics in Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave, and is said to be "extremely close to signing onto the movie" after reading for the part for over the past month. While the site goes on to describe it as a major female role which doesn't seem to be in any way tied to the family lines from the original trilogies, they've heard that Nyong'o may be playing a Sith!
