We recently
detailed the process through which
Industrial Light and Magic recreated
Grand Moff Tarkin (Peter Cushing) and a young
Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) in
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but a new video from ABC's Nightline has now provided a behind-the-scenes look at the amazing work that went into recreating the likenesses of the two actors.
While the reception to the the computer generated faces (notably Tarkin's) have been mixed, there's no doubt that some great effort and attention to detail went into making them a reality! Be sure to watch the video and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.
