New Making of 'Empire Strikes Back' Video Surfaces!

Lucasfilm just released this trailer for its upcoming book "The Making of Empire Strikes Back," hitting Book Stores everywhere Oct. 12, 2010.

The author, J.W. Rinzler, was given unlimited access to the Lucasfilm data banks to put together a 'Making of' story that is not filled with endless BS and fluff. One would note how pissed off the crew got when Lucas (who chose to fund 'The Empire Strikes Back' himself) started to run out of money. That's right Comic Book Movie fans, the most celebrated sequel in film history almost ran out of money while Lucas was filming. You also get a special glimpse of the original script by Leigh Bracket.



Which brings me to CBM's next poll! I know, I too am compromised with Excitement! So here it is. Show you're CBM support and vote for, in you're opinion, what is the best Trilogy ever filmed?

TOY STORY FTW!!! Gotta vote for THE trilogy that doesn't have a week chapter. I hated A New Hope, Two Towers, BTTF3, X3, Temple of Doom, Any Scream except the first, Evolution, SM3, Marvel isn't a true trilogy to me, Trinity (DUH!!!), Pirates3, Revolution and the first Evil Dead.

GAWD!!! WTF is up with all the damn different spammers lately?!?!?!?!

Who's doing the math here?! Does SW still qualify as a trilogy?! Indy had 4 movies, too! The only films in the SW saga I liked was: New Hope and Empire. Jedi was a too campy and don't get me started on Phantom Menace, etc. Raiders was the ONLY good Indy movie. Back To The Future I & II were good, but they lost me at the Western. I liked the 1st Underworld and Matrix but thought the rest were pointless garbage. Not a big fan of ANY of the Evil Dead, Scream or Blade movies...meh. Spiderman 1&2 good, 3 was POOP. X-Men 1&2 decent enough, but I was more entertained by 3 (hate me). Pirates = GAY (period). Toy Story?! Seriously, Toy Story?! And I don't know what to make of that hodge-podge entry. LOTR, hands down. Fun stuff, either way!

indiana jones is a quadrilogy. and you forgot the prequel star wars and predator. and the trailer is old. and stop bashing the prequel trilogy. each trilogy has something else to offer. if it wasn't for the prequels we wouldn't get force unleashed, we wouldn't know the sith and we wouldn't get all those incredible video games like kotor and battlefront. star wars would be kinda dead without the prequels. like star trek was before the reboot. and we wouldn't have all this star wars mania of the recent years.

Well, according to Empire Mag. and their voters, LOTR came out on top and SW (original trilogy) ended up in 2nd.
