Happy Star Wars Day! To celebrate, The Sun has run a story claiming that J.J. Abrams will be taking Star Wars: Episode VII to Scotland. According to the site, parts of the highly anticipated sequel will be shot both in the Highlands and the Isle of Sky. A source reportedly tells them that, "Location bosses feel Scotland possesses stunning scenery perfect for movie backdrops. They will look great on the big screen and the rock formations will replicate the perception of mountainous planets. It will be the first time Star Wars has ever been shot north of the border." This isn't actually too difficult to believe, especially as the likes of The Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall and World War Z have all filmed key scenes there in recent years. Of course, it's best to take this report with a huge grain of salt for the time being, especially as the source is such an unreliable one. For now, be sure to sound off with your thoughts on this rumour in the usual place!
