Yes. Fans of the lightsabre-wielding, force-heavy Star Wars saga can now state they are using official words when talking about the Jedi, Padawans or even a Mind Trick. The Oxford English Dictionary has added these words to its repertoire: Jedi, Mind Trick, Padawan and Lightsabre.
The Star Wars universe has even more words out there that could be added to the OED as well. The official Star Wars Twitter account even has a suggestion. "Nerf-herder". How about that? Having lingo added to a dictionary is a huge step for any franchise, fans of Star Wars have a great social media post to share with their friends today.

Lightsabre - In the fictional universe of the Star Wars films: a weapon resembling a sword, but having a destructive beam of light in place of a blade.
