Lucasfilm has launched an official Star Wars Instagram. For now there are no new images (unless you count the aforementioned selfie) but fans will want to keep a close eye on it over the coming weeks as we have a lot of galaxy far far away related stuff on the horizon.

OK, let me clarify: It's stupid because they're lacking any imagination or enhancement to their product; a selfie of a supposedly (as of now) dead character is unworthy of one of the greatest trilogies in film history. They've provided nothing with this to enhance the product; they could have created a story, a background for what is to come, which personally I hope will not revolve around Vader (I mean, he is DEAD, you know) across all the social media sites , but they thought a Darth Vader selfie was just too cute an opportunity to pass up. It's lame. The lack of effort in those producing social media sites will be the downfall of social media, IMO. No profit in them, I suspect. After Episodes I-III (and the ewoks disaster), this franchise needs an injection of creativity.

So is Vader going to appear again in these upcoming future films? What if Hamil becomes a heroic version of Vader by wearing his deceased fathers original costume/armor? That would be pretty sick!
