As we already reported, Avengers: Infinity War officially had the biggest opening weekend of all time, surpassing the record that had previously been set by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Congratulations have been pouring in from all over, and now Lucasfilm has graciously passed the torch via an image shared over Twitter late last night.

As you can see, the pic shows Rey handing over a the lightsaber she returned to Luke in The Last Jedi, only this time Iron Man is the one accepting it.

Sure, Disney does own both franchises so they are essentially patting themselves on the back here - but there are different people in charge of guiding these movies to success, so some friendly competition still exists.

It seems highly unlikely that Solo: A Star Wars Story will be the one to reclaim that 'saber, but what about Episode IX? We'll just have to wait and see.
