It's been decades in the making, but the final chapter of the "Skywalker Saga" is almost here, and we now have one last trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

There's some jaw-dropping visuals on display here from start to finish, but it's the narration from the Emperor which is perhaps most intriguing as we seemingly learn that he's been plotting his return for a very long time (and that Rey and Kylo Ren's coming together will be crucial to his plan).

Considering the fact that J.J. Abrams is at the helm, what we see here is surprisingly revealing, and there's even a shot from what could well be the movie's final battle as Rey stares down the iconic bad guy.

@NOID - visually it was nice, along with a good score, and a mysteriously optimistic force ghost Luke voice over, but I just dont care about the characters, so it didn't pull me in with sentimentality. I'll see it, but I'm not excited.

@NOID - Me, too. The trailer did absolutely nothing for me. It was all very random, and gave me no feel for the story in any way. Hopefully, there's a lot of legacy surprises they're keeping hidden, and that's why the trailer had to suck.

C-3PO has had barely any interaction with any of them. It's empty dialogue that does not really hold any weight.

Looks like more of the same for the sequel trilogy.

Great acting, effects, dialogue, direction, etc, but creatively bankrupt.

Great trailer though.
