Ask George yourself, Star Wars has always been about the toys beyond all else. Folks,you're buying into an advertising campaign and merchandising line when you buy into the Lucas universe.
Gimme real science fiction any day.

@FOOM Potentially the most patronizing thing I've read in a very long time. I'm pretty sure people are aware that the toys are marketing. I'm also pretty sure how [frick]ing cool I thought they were and how much fun I had with them as a kid. So why don't you (and the rest of the internet trolls) go off and play in your no fun zone and leave the rest of us alone.
