So, only a delay of around five days, although it doesn't really move further away or closer to any other major releases as it's already surrounded by the likes of Jurassic World and Batman Vs. Superman. While it has yet to be officially confirmed, Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor is apparently the frontrunner to direct what will be the first in planned trilogy of standalone movies. Laeta Kalorgridis (Avatar) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry) are attached to write the screenplay.
