TERMINATOR 5: Emilia Clarke & Brie Larson Frontrunners For 'Sarah Connor' Role

An update on the casting for the female lead role in Alan Taylor's Terminator movie names previously announced contenders Clarke (Game Of Thrones) and Larson (Short Term 12) as the frontrunners -- with an "edge" going to the former apparently.

Deadline report that Paramount and director Alan Taylor have narrowed their search for a new Sarah Connor down to Emilia Clarke and Brie Larson. Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany and The Wolf Of Wall Street's Margot Robbie were also in the mix at one stage. Both Larson and Clarke have obviously tested for the role, but word is that "Clarke has an edge" having worked with Taylor on HBO's Game Of Thrones playing the "mother of dragons", Daenerys Targaryen. Will she now get the chance to play the mother of the future? Which actress do you think best suits the role?
