THE DARK TOWER Trailer Teasers Introduce Us To The Gunslinger And The Man In Black

Ahead of the release of the trailer tomorrow, Idris Elba & Matthew McConaughey have revealed the first amazing footage from the movie which introduces us to both the lead hero and villain.

Originally set to be released in February, The Dark Tower is now coming in August instead (after being pushed back from July). Sony Pictures reportedly wanted more time to perfect the special effects, and if these trailers teasers are any indication, they've definitely succeeded! As you can see below, each of them focus on the movie's leads; Idris Elba's Gunslinger and Matthew McConaughey's Man in Black.

There some great imagery here which will be instantly familiar to fans of the Stephen King novels, including an open doorway, Roland Deschain's famous guns, and even a hint of the Dark Tower itself.

A trailer for The Dark Tower leaked online last year, but it appears as if the one we're getting tomorrow is going to be brand new and made up of fresh footage. Either way, it's definitely going to be exciting seeing more from this release as it's definitely shaping up to be a summer blockbuster to look out for.

I remember the days when there were trailers. Just trailers. Just [frick]ING trailers. And now there are trailers to the trailers. And motion posters to the teasers to the trailer. And announcement promos for the trailers. I just want a trailer.
