Writes AICN's Harry Knowles, "This was the happy word I received today on the Grapevine of Industry Insiders. TRON LEGACY, a film that many people loved, and a lot of people wanted more from, and that a very vocal minority incessantly bitch about... is getting close, incredibly close to having its SEQUEL announced!... The film has proved, beyond a doubt, that there is an audience that buys this science fiction fantasy. And as DAFT PUNK's blisteringly awesome TRON LEGACY score continues to power the geek work force of the nation to plow through mindnumbing task after task... Disney is beginning to realize, TRON could be a franchise.... Now the real question is... Where does TRON go from here? There is a plan, but it is being closely guarded. There's a TV show in the works to keep the brand popping till the next Theatrical run, but it looks like us TRON geeks won't be having to sit around for 28 years hanging onto this last one, like we did the first one."

Search for Flynn

As Tron is reconstructing the grid.

Sounds good to me as all the original cast returns and I actually want to see Tron this time round.

I wouldn't bother. Just buy the soundtrack and watch blue computer grids:) Ah no it's worth seeing..just about. Just don't expect anything close to a plot.

No No Grif, he was in it. He just had one line, we didn't see his face and he died in an afterthought.

Lol at Knowles and his bitching minority. They guy liked Gi Joe for [frick]s sake. The film has 49% rating on RT. That doesn't sound like a minority to me.

The new Tron was a dignified one. But Captain Sheridan needs more screentime.

Didn't much care for the plot (or lack thereof), but I enjoyed the film (kind of).

Hopefully Daft Punk will score the sequel (as their score was only one of two things I liked about the movie. Give you one try to guess the other...).

Disney lied to me. They said the 3D would be great, but honestly there was barely any 3D in the film. They just raped my pockets. I would like to see what happened to Tron though.

I don't see why people are saying it didn't have a plot. I thought the plot was simple: a man tries to find his long lost father. Maybe a few plot holes or things that could be tied up, but we are to expect the cartoon series to fill in some gaps later.

I wouldn't bother but hey, whatever fills Disney's wallets; it's smart business. Tron: Legacy was alright. Not great, not amazing, but it's not awful. I wouldn't bother seeing another one.

Visually it's repetitive. Strong oranges and faded blues on dull greys for an hour and a half. It's as if they wanted to ride the initial wow factor of when he first enters the grid for the entire movie. It's clever how they called it an "original soundtrack by daft punk" when there's only a couple techno beats you'd associate with them. It's just a basic movie score, nothing out of the ordinary. If you were expecting robot rock to badass lightcycle battles, you'll be in for a sad surprise.

The CGI Jeff Bridges is impressive until it starts talking. It may be the best hollywood has to offer but until they master facial movement, it still looks like video game cutscenes.

Overall, I regret seeing it sober. Would've been much more fun to have gotten blazed and seen it like we'd planned. I don't see what all the hype was about.

That movie was really good in my opinion, but I liked The Last Airbender, and didnt like The Book of Eli. So with that said, I hope they make a second movie so I can see more of Olivia Wilde.

I liked it. I wasn't expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised. Olivia Wilde has never looked hotter. I would keep her in that wig forever hahah

Not much plot per se, but I watched the original just prior to going and let's face it, not exactly a case study in story telling. I also thinks it's pretty funny when people say Legacy is just a Matrix rip off, considering the Matrix did their best to rip off the original TRON. Payback's a bitch muthafka.
