Second Scott Pilgrim vs. The World TV Spot

More awesome action and hilarious comedy in the second TV spot for director Edgar Wright's adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim comic book!

By bsprecher - Jun 09, 2010 11:06 AM EST

Based on the comic book series by Bryan O'Malley, the movie's plot follows slacker musician Scott Pilgrim (played by Michael Cera) on his quest to win the love of the woman he has been dreaming about, Ramona V. Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). Unfortunately, Flowers' affection comes with some hefty baggage in the form of seven "evil" ex-boyfriends that Pilgrim must dual in fantastic, video-game-style battles, complete with flaming swords, power-ups, and extra lives.

Every tv spot I get for a movie is 10sec and has an over used joke

It's almost annoying

For shame, SirPrize, the Blue Beetle says "nuh-uh!"

I'm not into censorship, but your pic had the f-word and Galactus says that's a no-no, so, bye-bye!

What's not to like about this movie? It's got superhero action, flaming swords, humor, kung-fu, lesbians...I think it looks awesome!

Yep, I'm fairly certain this will be awesome. It reminds me of KUng Fu Hustle, which as everyone knows, is great!

Listen, this is directed by the guy who made Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. There is no reason to think this movie won't be great for that reason alone.

Ror - your making up for your misunderstanding of the fantastic four with comments like that.

haha, DUUUDE!, no misunderstanding, I just don't like them. Just not edgy enough for my taste.

Okay, that's kind different. Anyway Kung Fu Hustle and Shaulin Soccer are good times.

@SirPrize: Look at the bottom of the image you posted. Naughty-naughty!

@Ror: Couldn't agree more! Never even read the comic, but the more footage I see of it, the more I like it. And, I too enjoyed Kung-Fu Hustle (Soccer less so).

this movie is just starting to look better and better. except don't like Kieran Culkin as Wallace. Guy looks a bit too slimey for my liking.

I SOOOO have to see this movie.
@Ror- I like the way you think. Now that I have seen more of this flick via previews, it really does look like Kung-Fu Hustle. Loved that movie. :)

You guys, seriously, go to your local Hastings or Books-A-Million and buy volume 1. It's only $11 bucks!

If Watchmen and Sandman are the holy bible and Torah of the comic book world, then this is SOOOO...uh...the Dante's Inferno of comic books... for video-game/slacker/musicians!

agreed, that alot of it is illogical(bullhocky)but you must love the fact that slasher films are infamous for killing of the winny 95 lbs weakling that seems to have an answer 4 everthing except how the knife in his neck got there without the knowledge of his mommy.
