Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Teases BLACK ADAM And Eventual Crossover With SHAZAM

@Kr08 - Yeah great idea but Rock just said there would be three films. Stand alone for BA and one for Sh and then the crossover/fight between them. Which I don't know how they would do that.....not to familiar with Shazam but he's only known for the Black Adam fight. So not sure what the stand alone would be about.

@JONALOTZRH - I have no doubt that the third movie will be Man of Steel 2. It's the only thing that makes sense.

@Kr08 - Yeah thats what I would of thought of but he said 'then we can come together at some point' he's talking about Shazam and Black Adam so the third film is the Sh Vs BA film.

@JONALOTZRH - And I'm sure MOS2 (which should just be called Superman or The Superman) will come out first.

@JONALOTZRH - The Black Adam and Shazam films already have multiple drafts for the scripts, and most likely already have directors. Man of Steel 2 has neither of these things, but the green light.

Plus, the Rock and Henry Cavill have the same manager, the Rock's ex. Do you honestly think they didn't plan the Black Adam/Shazam/Superman crossover themselves before DC had the chance to? They took the plan to Geoff Johns and he loved it, so Man of Steel 2 will most likely come out last and around 2020.

@Kr08 - I wouldn't say its set in stone, they keep announcing films thats the problem here and I think DC wants to get the characters they have now right for the audience thats why there is buzz about Mathew V and this soft reboot as they want to get one of their pop culture icons right. I'm not saying Superman wouldn't be in the Shazam film makes sense to have the Spiderman/Iron man or Flash/Batman dynamic there. I just saying Rock is all talk as you said. I just think there more priority on the character they have now.

@Buckster10 @Kr08 - Well I don't mind a prequel for Black Adam as at least that would be a different type and time for comicbook movie. I'm just saying why is Shazam having a solo film, might as well get the Rock back right away and again what else does Shazam fight?

@GarthRanzz - Oh yeah sort of remember him from New 52 ....but what can he do? looking at images on google the older comics make him look like a clone of Shazam and Black Adam so what would be the point?

@JONALOTZRH - There's that worm guy Mister mind, but that would suck. He needs to slug it out with Black Adam in his first solo outing!

@Philip - Also it need to be 'Superman' in the title as this is the soft reboot/birth of the superman fans/hater/ppl want. Man of Steel was the title because it was part of a Superman trilogy that would mirror the TDK trilogy. So Man of Tomorrow would of prob been the title of the sequel if they were still going down that direction still. Now MOS is part of the Rebirth trilogy MOS, BVS and JL.

@JONALOTZRH - If you're referring to the Seven Deadly Enemies, I'm thinking it could work in multiple ways. The gist would be:

They escape the wizards prison, and split up. During the course of the film, Shazam encounters them separately as they move between hosts. Eventually, the Seven decides that Shazam is ruining their fun, and needs to be taken out, finding suitable hosts to use against him.

At that point, Pride could overtake a political figure or police captain of sorts. A position of power where he could change the public image of Shazam, and use armies against him.
Envy could overtake a friend of Billy's and manipulate him.
Greed and Gluttony could work together should maybe move between hosts, to keep Shazam's attention and to keep him busy, making it seem like whatever he does, it's not enough. Always more people to save, and by saving someone, someone else dies.
Sloth could make sure doctors, firemen, EMTs etc. are overcome with laziness, leaving Shazam as the people's only hope.
Lust overtakes the body of a some symbol of desire, and messes with Billy's mind. He'll be a kid I think, so any kind of sexual desire should be new to him and really mess with him.
Lastly, at his weakest point, Anger should take over Billy himself.

I don't know, there are better minds out there than mine.

I could see that, with the 3rd film they could be going up against someone of Billy's enemies who wants to steal the powers of Shazam from the both of them.

@Desrow - Yeah but again his said there 3 films 2 stand alone films then the crossover/fight.

@KWilly - they are shooting blind in hopes that they get some hit, next week they will announce a lobo movie, the other week a teen titans, then green arrow, then Martha, and so on...
