According to IGN, after the change of power at Warner Bros. later this year there has been a lot of question about what Jeff Robinov will do next. DC Comicbook movies will continue in a greatly growing scale but no World's Mightiest Mortal is coming out soon.
The Wrap said "the long-gestating comic book adaptation Shazam! is said to be pretty much dead at the moment."
So whats coming next? Robinov has made it clear that he plans on producing quite fewer movies but more tentpoles, including "one or two" DC Comics properties per year. DC boss Diane Nelson is ready to tackle this.
Now we know that The Dark Knight Rises is coming and Superman Returns "Returns"- reboot is also starting to close in(finally!). We know for a fact that Warner Bros/DC is going all out on Green Lantern which is coming out next year, which will blow us all away! Its gonna be emerald green next year people!!
We know that The Flash is finally running the right direction but curiously the site comments on Wonder Woman; "which the studio is also looking to crack development on" seemingly unknowing that a tv series is in the development stages. Something I would say is not a good idea. After the dreadful and horrible show Smallville, we dont need anymore of the nasty illegal assault on the infamous heroes of DC.
All in all we are getting more DC comicbook movies but not Captain Marvel, and its not entirely clear which ones are up next after the true icons of the comicbook world.
