1st...... Also, Spider-Man 2 is better than No Way Home. Love them both. Just my opinion.

@SpiderBrad - It's not JUST your opinion, it's pretty much everyone else's too.

@SpiderBrad - Spiderman 2 is the best comic book movie ever made, not just the best Spiderman movie.

There is a reason they had to bring Tobey and Alfred back.
MrDandy
MrDandy - 4/11/2022, 2:10 PM
@SpiderBrad - honestly, love the top 3 in general and I could see any of them being at #1. Into the Spider-Verse is easily my favorite.
PhoenixBlade

I’d probably only swap TASM2 and Venom. The worst of TASM2 is worse than Venom 2, but the best of TASM2 is better than Venom 2. Essentially though, nothing bellow Spider-Man 3 is worth a rewatch.
ModHaterSLADE
ModHaterSLADE - 4/11/2022, 1:09 PM
Well at least Spider-Verse at #1 feels right. Just makes me wish we got more animated film projects from Sony instead of some of these live action Spider-Man related movies.
TheHumanSpider2
TheHumanSpider2 - 4/11/2022, 1:16 PM
Dont include the Holland movies, you are triggering all the MCU fanboys on this site.
And Civil War is neither a Spiderman movie nor a Sony movie.

Anyway, Spiderman 2 is the GOAT, will always be, NWH shouldnt even be top 5.

Spiderman 2
Spiderman
Spiderverse
Spiderman 3
Venom 2
Amazing 2
No Way Home
Homecoming
Amazing 1
Venom
Far From Home
(havent seen Morbius yet).

@TheHumanSpider2 - The only person triggered here is you, buddy.
Why would MCU fanboys be triggered when the Holland movies are higly rated?
TheHumanSpider2
TheHumanSpider2 - 4/11/2022, 1:53 PM
@ANewPope - Comment Spiderman solo movies are made by Sony, and wait for the reaction. Go.

@TheHumanSpider2 - I mean yeah Sony made several of them on their own, and distributed the MCU ones while giving some creative input. What about it?
Moriakum
Moriakum - 4/11/2022, 1:27 PM
First, WTF is Civil War doing there?! That's a Marvel Studios/Disney solo production.
Second, Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home are co-productions and Marvel Studios had creative control. They are not "Sony Marvel Movies".

Simple rule for understanding Sony and Rotten Tomatoes:

The more Avi Arad made creative decisions the worse the RT score will be

What’s with the excitement of watching a movie fail? Especially a comic book movie. This site has a serious hard-on for wanting and seeing Morbius fail. Same with the Snyderverse. Do you have any idea how lucky we are to see these characters on screen?!

For decades comic books were thought of as juvenile and for kids. Now they’re winning publication awards!

@TheHumanSpider2 - I mean yeah Sony made several of them on their own, and distributed the MCU ones while giving some creative input and imposing harsh limitations. What about it?

SONY (Marvel) movies, No Way Home is 99.9% Marvel Studios
TheHumanSpider2
TheHumanSpider2 - 4/11/2022, 1:46 PM
@Fanmar16 - NWH is 100% Sony.

If you feel bad about liking a Sony movie, seek profesional help.

@TheHumanSpider2 - it was all Sony huh? Then explain Morbius end credit scene
DavidMullich
DavidMullich - 4/11/2022, 2:04 PM
@TheHumanSpider2 - NWH was co-produced by Marvel Studios and has the Marvel Studios logo. It was not 100% Sony.

I have a feeling Kraven is gonna be right on par with venoms & morbius. They really just can’t do live action cbms. They killed it with spider verse so that’s their wheelhouse. They should just clear their desk and hand it all over to Feige & company & be happy with a producer credit on all upcoming live action Spidey movies & a big chunk of the revenue. Seriously should go to marvel hat in hand & make a deal guaranteeing x amount of movies every couple years & stop the madness. Let them just go along with the gravy train & stop ruining perfectly good serials.

Morbius is not the worst. its about as good as the second venom
i feel like putting the mcu is kinda cheating

Top three are my favorite.

1. Into SpiderVerse
2. Spider-Man 2
3. No Way Home

but Civil War isn’t a Sony movie….also why would it get included and not Infinity War and Endgame?
MrDandy
MrDandy - 4/11/2022, 2:18 PM
Also, I’m in shock at Carnage is at 58%. It must be skating on peoples love for Serkis. Hated that movie even more than the original and it’s easily the worst Sony Spider-Man-ish film (that I’ve seen)
bkmeijer1
bkmeijer1 - 4/11/2022, 2:42 PM
Again this list? And again with Civil War on it, but not Infinity War or Endgame? If the former is a Spider-Man movie, so are the other two.

Spider-Verse. (amazing)

Tiny drop-off to the Holland movies. (great)

Bigger drop-off to the Maguire movies. (still good)

Even bigger drop-off to the Garfield movies. (mediocre)

And then a bottomless pit of hell to the Venom movies and Morbius.
