While it's never been reported by the trades, a lot of online scoopers seem confident in the chances of Charlie Cox showing up as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. We've heard a lot about potential plans for Daredevil from there, though nothing is even close to being confirmed right now.
Marvel Studios would certainly earn a lot of goodwill from fans if they were to bring the Man Without Fear fully into the MCU, but what does Cox himself have to say on the matter?
During a recent interview, the actor was seemingly caught off-guard after being questioned about the sheer level of support he receives from fans on social media about a potential return as Daredevil. That led to him neither confirming nor denying those reports, but it's hard not to feel like he's hiding something here - why else would he say that fans should "wait and see"?
"You know, I also...it makes me...I wouldn't want to ruin something either way," Cox explains. "It makes me a little anxious in that regard. It's a difficult thing to talk about. All I would say is, I guess everyone, myself included, is just going to have to wait and see what happens."
That's quite the response, eh?
We will indeed have to wait and see how things pan out, but it's hard not to get excited about the prospect of Daredevil having a recurring presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward.
