We've heard that Spider-Man: No Way Home picks up right where Spider-Man: Far From Home's mid-credits scene left us, and that's now been confirmed in the first clip from the movie. J. Jonah Jameson has just outed the wall-crawler's secret identity, and MJ finds herself surrounded by New Yorkers.
With that, Peter Parker grabs his girlfriend and swings away, and it's then we get a couple of fun Hawkeye Easter Eggs thanks to some billboards promoting Rogers: The Musical. We know this movie takes place around the same time as the current Disney+ series, so this connective tissue is welcomed.
The sneak peek ends with Peter getting a call from his buddy Ned Leeds, and it's clear that the fallout from Spider-Man: Far From Home is only just beginning to be felt in this corner of the MCU.
Check out this first clip from Spider-Man: No Way Home below:
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."
Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).
Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
