Get ready to head back into the Spider-Verse this weekend when Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man kicks off its epic four-part "Return to the Spider-Verse" event!

The new event will serve as a sequel of sorts for the original Spider-Verse event that took place last season. Details on the plot have yet-to-be revealed, but the storyline is said to follow Spider-Man & Miles Morales for the most part, which likely means it will center around Peter trying to find a way to get Miles back into his own dimension. On another note, IGN has obtained a ton of details on which Spiders are set to appear and I've broken it down for you below:

  • Part 1
    • Ben Diskin, who voiced Eddie Brock/Venom in The Spectacular Spider-Man & Spidey himself in Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Avengers Reassembled, will debut as Blood Spider.

    • Christopher Daniel Barnes, best known for his iconic portrayal of Spider-Man/Peter Parker in the beloved Spider-Man: The Animated Series, is returning to the show after voicing Spider-Knight & Electro during last year's Spider Verse event. This time he'll be voicing Wolf Spider.

  • Part 2
    • Will Friedle, who played Eric Matthews for seven seasons on Boy Meets World & voiced Terry McGinnis on Batman Beyond, is also returning after previously voicing Deadpool in Season 2. He'll be voicing a pirate Spidey named Web Beard.

    • Troy Baker, who voiced the Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins and Sam Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, will voice Webslinger, the Spider Cowboy.

    • This episode will also feature a few fun cameos from Rocket Raccoon, voiced by Trevor Devall, Cosmo, voiced by James Arnold Taylor, and Howard the Duck, voiced by Seth Green, who also voiced him in the Guardians of the Galaxy post-credits sequence back in 2014.

  • Part 3
    • Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia will be reprising his role as Spider-Man Noir.

  • Part 4
    • After generating quite a bit of fan support over the past couple of years, Spider-Gwen will finally make her long-awaited animated debut in the event's final installment. She'll be voiced by Descendents star Dove Cameron.

Check out a batch of first look stills below:

Too many damn Spider-men, and spider beings and spider clones.

Look, it's a decent show, I watch with my kids.

But this "spider-verse" is so creatively lazy.
