Emma Stone, who plays Gwen Stacy in the upcoming reboot, won the "Best Comedy" award for her movie Easy A last night at the Critics' Choice Award and took a few minutes of her time to answer a question about what its been like to work alongside Andrew Garfield.

"He's incredibly talented and intelligent and intuitive. It means so much to him to be playing this part and just get to walk in Peter Parker's shoes. He's really just giving it his all and I've never seen anything like it.

He's one of the best, not just Spider-Men, but actors I've ever met . . . A lot of times you dream about things and they pale in comparison when you actually do them, but it's better."

Spider-Man 3D is set to be released on July 3, 2012!

Kirsten Dunst was a horrible MJ. Toby was a decent Spider-Man. But I think this one is going to be 1000x better, well hopefully.

Dig the suit. Can't wait to see the mask.

she won the Critics Choice Award for best actress in a comedy. Did Garfield win for Supporting? If so then we got some great talent in this film

When I first saw Garfield in Robert Redford 's Lions for the Lambs.....I actually thought then that he would make a good Spiderman. His chemistry with Redford was phenomenal and he actually held his own. I had no idea then that he was actually British. I never liked Tobey's version because he absolutely lacks charisma and charm and it completely ruined the experience for me. I think this reboot will inspire.

Garfield and Stone (that sounds like a law firm) can actually act, so I'm curious to see how their performances play off of each other.

This is the kind of thing that gives me hope about actors that are truly honoured to be playing these characters, Andrew Garfield has made it very well known that he loves Spidey and playing him is a massive honour just like Hugh Jackman loves playing Wolverine even if the movies his played him in haven't been the best he always does the best he can.

LEEE777 - I agree with you that Emma Stone would make a great Mary-Jane but she will be great as Gwen Stacey too. I know you don't have much hope for this film but I hope it can live up to the standards you and I hope for.

people can say maguire and dunst were miscast

Maguire and Dunst had great chemistry in the Raimi films. Maguire was a great fit for Spiderman but the only problem was that Dunst didnt look like MJ at all after the first film (even though she wasn't sexy looking like the real MJ at all). Garfield and Stone's chemistry will not be a problem at all according to all the questions they've been answering about the film.

Will Garfield look young enough for a 19 or 20 year old Parker ? Can Emma make a great impression as Gwen. Romita Sr. did impress us with very sexy depictions of Gwen and MJ. Standards that were maintained throughout the Spider-man comics. I think the ultimate comparison is: Marc Webb to Sam Raimi, can Webb strike the right tone of essentially what Spider-man/Peter Parker is about. I felt Raimi did very well at what compelled Peter Parker to ultimately become the superhero Spider-man. That is why Dunst and Macguire were very good mainly due to Raimi and the script. Where the Spider-man movies failed was in creating the villian's menace and development. Opportunities were missed and lost in giving us a more sinister world and reason for Spider-man's existence. So Disney please bring spidey home and let Marc Webb make a descent and true depiction of our favorite web slinger!!!
