Captain America Has Some Wholesome Advice In The SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Gag Reel

The hilarious gag reel for Spider-Man: Homecoming has found its way online and it features yet another message from Captain America, Peter Parker finally saying THAT line, and a plethora of mistakes...

Spider-Man: Homecoming was a fun movie but the reboot's blooper reel is even more amusing! There are plenty of mistakes in here as the cast finds themselves tripping up over their lines or simply unable to keep a straight face during some particularly silly scenes. The highlights, however, come when Tom Holland's Peter Parker finally says the iconic Uncle Ben line and Chris Evans' Captain America shows up.

We know the Spider-Man: Homecoming Blu-ray will include a selection of alternate scenes featuring the Star Spangled Avenger but this particular example proves to be a little too much for Evans here!

The Marvel Studios reboot is now the highest grossing superhero movie of 2017, something none of us could have seen coming this time last year. There's still time for Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League to top it, of course, but for now, be sure to check out the Spider-Man: Homecoming blooper reel below.

No wonder Tom made the joke about "how many pieces" at the end. I thought the idea of Peter being exited to build a Lego Death Star was unbelievable. It's just protect placement anyway.

@Nightwing1015 - How was it unbelievable? They already established he at least like Star Wars in Civil War

@Nightwing1015 - Eh, idk. I think a high schooler who builds lego sets in his spare time has gotta be nerdiest person ever. So it fits! lol

@Ha1frican - I just thought that:

a) 15-year-olds tend not to like kids toys. They may get back into them when they're adults but not when they're teenagers.

b) Peter Parker would be too busy having fun with scientific stuff. Not a Disney product placement Lego set.

@Nightwing1015 -

A.) thats a completely generalized sweeping statement that is not necessarily true

B.) It wasnt even his idea, it was Ned's. He only agreed to do it because he (like any teenager would) wanted to spend time with his friend. A friend that is clearly a cinephile and sci-fi buff as made clear by his constant pop culture references

@Ha1frican - Fair enough. I've just never seen Peter do anything remotely similar in the comics. I thought the idea was targeted at the younger members of the audience who would enjoy playing with Lego.

@Nightwing1015 - I will say the view of Star Wars in this universe is kind of strange. Peter seemed to only vaguely know about Star Wars in Civil War to being a pretty adamant fan here.
You could argue he pretended to not know in Civil War, but realistically I just think the Civil War writers felt that teenagers today wouldn't be passionate about Star Wars, and the Homecoming writers were either obligated to by contract or feel like nerdy teens today do like Star Wars.

I personally know one guy who has collected Star Wars Lego sets his whole life.

@Nightwing1015 - In all fairness, I have a 15 year old brother. He is still VERY much into building legos and minecraft and playing with action figures. He's in high school, has a girlfriend, and is definitely a geek. Not unbelievable

@VicSage - Good for him. The main reason I didn't like it in the film was that it seemed like an excuse to advertise a Disney product but it's really a small issue.

I love how the setting of Peter in HS just allows for everyone who wants to cameo to have a role lol if anyone wants to be in the movie, just have them be a teacher
