Empire's SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Subscriber-Only Cover Features New Artwork From Alan Davis
Empire has just unveiled their new Spider-Man: Homecoming subscriber-only cover, and it features a depiction of the iconic wall-crawler from legendary comic book artist Alan Davis. Check it out.
Though we'll have to wait a while to get a look at their regular Spider-Man: Homecoming-themed cover, Empire Magazine has debuted some awesome new Spidey artwork that'll adorn the covers of subscriber-only editions.
The mag commissioned artist/writer Alan Davis (Captain Britain, The Uncanny X-Men, ClanDestine, Excalibur) to sketch the pic, with inking from long-time collaborator Mark Farmer.
This cover should reach subscribers very soon, while the newsstand edition will be available from May 18, and will include plenty of exclusive Spidey-related content.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7.
