MORBIUS: Netflix Declares "It's Morbin' Time" By Adding The Marvel Movie To Its Streaming Catalogue

Morbius has proven to be one of the most divisive and widely ridiculed Marvel movies in recent memory, but if you're keen to relive the experience, you can do so on Netflix. Check out the announcement...

Morbius was released in theaters back in March, earning negative reviews from fans and critics alike. It was clear the movie underwent extensive reshoots, with the ending completely changed and the roles of certain characters vastly different than originally intended (Tyrese's FBI Agent and his robotic arm, for example, proved to be total non-factors).

Most infuriating for fans were a couple of poorly put-together post-credit scenes that saw The Vulture travel from the MCU to suggest he and the Living Vampire assemble a heroic Sinister Six.

The less said about that, the better.

Something we have seen in recent months is Morbius becoming a subject of ridicule among fans. Memes are prevalent, with those claiming to be passionate about the Sony Pictures movie rallying around the phrase, "It's Morbin' time." For those of you who may not realise, that's a reference to the "It's morphin' time!" catchphrase in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Now, Netflix has got in on the fun by announcing Morbius is streaming on its platform while declaring, "It's Morbin' time."

In our review of the movie, we concluded by saying, "Jared Leto’s transformation makes for compelling viewing, but the Living Vampire can’t elevate a disappointing story that serves as a powerful, dare we say terrifying, reminder that Spider-Man is better off (and safer) in the MCU with Marvel Studios."

There's no word on a Morbius sequel, though we don't anticipate it getting one based on the first instalment's dismal box office performance. As for whether the Living Vampire will return in some sort of Sinister Six project, that remains to be seen, though we certainly hope not based on what we've seen from Sony's Marvel plans thus far.

Will you be watching Morbius on Netflix?
