It is hard to believe that even after a year's time had passed since the theatrical release of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' up until this very moment, new details regarding more deleted scenes that almost made their way into the final cut of the film are still being revealed to us!
First, there was the animation of an extended fight sequence on the bridge, where after revealing himself, Green Goblin would have had his first altercation with Tom Holland's version of Spider-Man.
Next, there were also talks of a scrapped deleted scene featuring Doctor Strange and The Lizard, where we would witness a fight between the two, and see how Strange would have captured him, before the moment in the film when Peter and Doctor Octopus were transported back to the underground magical dungeon.
Now, it seems like we were robbed of yet another deleted scene, featuring Spidey, Doctor Strange, and Sandman.
Phil Langone, who worked as a storyboard artist for the successful film, recently shared still drawings of a potential fight scene taking place after Doctor Strange instructed Peter to be on the search for any other multiversal visitors they accidentally drew in from the failed spell attempt.

Phil then took to his Instagram account, where he uploaded an animatic of the storyboards, providing us with prototype fight sequence footage of what would have happened.
The scene would have differed from the movie in how Sandman was introduced to help Peter battle Electro, now seeing that originally he was causing trouble from the beginning.
Would Sandman have acted as a villain from the start of his introduction in the film? Or would his characterization have remained the same? Like all the Spider-Man news, we will most likely have to wait for another confirmation.
