SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME BTS Video Shows Tom Holland's Stunts, Deleted Scenes, Bloopers, And More

A new behind-the-scenes video for Spider-Man: No Way Home has been released that features a look at moments not in the movie, bloopers, and a fascinating glimpse of the creation of key action sequences.

It's easy to forget, but Spider-Man: No Way Home was shot entirely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cameras started rolling in October 2020, and as far as we're aware, the movie managed to avoid having to halt production due to a positive test. There are a lot of masks aside from Spidey's in this new behind-the-scenes footage, reminding us of the challenges the cast and crew faced.

We also get to see a number of stunts - many of which were performed by Tom Holland himself - and extended or alternate scenes that didn't wind up being included in the final cut of the threequel.

There are a lot of interesting reveals, too, including how some of the movie's key sequences were shot. Doctor Strange's basement looks a lot different minus any magic, while it's interesting to see that Benedict Cumberbatch wasn't actually wearing the Cloak of Levitation for quite a lot of his scenes with Holland's Peter Parker (it's always amazing to see what visual effects are capable of these days).

Needless to say, when Spider-Man: No Way Home eventually arrives on Blu-ray, we're hoping that there are interviews and "making-of" footage with those big guest stars, but time will tell on that front.

Check out this new Spider-Man: No Way Home behind-the-scenes footage below:

''what are we gonna do for 300 miles?''

''put our seatbelts on''

Gotta respect the crewmember for taking his moment to shine to say that

They are really doing a good job with that wire work. I saw some more behind the scenes footage where they calibrated the weight, and timing perfectly. It really looks convincing. Especially in the beginning when he jumps down to save MJ from the unruly crowd.

@DarthOmega -

I love that NWH had more wire work and practical fight scenes.

Goblin VS SPIDERMAN in the apartment was just so bad ass💪

MJ and peter swinging in the opening of the film just looked so good esspecially when it was wire work.

Building sets was *always* a big deal and something to be proud of but sheesh, it's kinda painful for me to realize that it has taken a new meaning now.

Just look at that.

Closed locations, blue screens, closed locations WITH blue screens.

But the said thing of it all is that it wasn't always necessary and you just need to watch this clip to realize that.

No wonder Kevin Feige was so surprised how Zhao chose to direct Eternals, meaning...under a REAL sun, a REAL sunset, in open space.

@Doomsday8888 -

The way you feel about NWH locatiins is how I felt about BVS and JL.

Those films felt sound stagey. Like it was filmed on a blue screen on a WB sound stage.

MOS had real location and it was obvious in BVS and JL that they moved away from that.

I didnt feel that in NWH. The bridge scene and apartment scene felt like a real location.🙋

I guess its in the eye of the beholder💁

It's the end of the year, so i'll allow it.

Bait?

I'm being serious. Thats one of my biggest complaints of the DCEU. I'm even mocked for it🙍.

For GOOD reason, hermano!
Even lifelong haters will concede certain things to Snyder and if he has ONE forte, well...you're hitting him right in that spot.

But on the other hand, you're defending or even praising something that...shit, we even went behind the scenes for this movie, the proof is all there.

But then again, you're not alone in this, lots of people can't tell the difference between a green/blue-screens and reality, even when it's used in a bad way.

I guess its in the eye of the beholder💁

@AmazingFILMporg - Lots of BvS was filmed in downtown Detroit. The city Bruce Wayne is driving through during the Zod/Superman fight is downtown Detroit.
