Tobey Maguire, star of the Spider-man movies, is set to give up the single life after proposing to longtime girlfriend Jennifer Meyer, reports IMDB.com.

The 28-year-old bride-to-be is a jewelry designer and the daughter of Universal Studios head Ron Meyer. The couple have been dating since 2003 and share a home in Los Angeles.

Maguire was previously linked with his Spider-Man costar Kirsten Dunst and was engaged to actress Rashida Jones in 2002.

Maguire is currently filming the third installment in the Spider-Man series.
