Insomniac Games is hard at work on their upcoming PlayStation 4 game. Of course, "hard at work" can mean different things and for the developers of Marvel's Spider-Man, it means playing through one of 2018's most anticipated games.
The official Insomniac Games Twitter account shared an update teasing the second day of a studio-wide playtest for Marvel's Spider-Man. The developer even joked, "Yes, this is our official job!" The tweet also included an image of what could be the game icon on the PlayStation 4 dashboard.
Several developers who are involved with the project also joined in on Twitter to share their experiences, including Marvel Games Senior Producer Eric Monacelli.
Horton's comments didn't sit too well with fans concerned that three playthroughs in two days could mean a short gameplay experience. He assured them, "Each play through has taken multiple days... long nights ahead of me."
Marvel's Spider-Man still doesn't have a firm release date, but if this latest playtest is any indication, hopefully it'll swing onto PS4 sooner in 2018 rather than later.
