How to fix the Spider-man Movie Saga after Spider-man 3's infamous disaster

Spider-man 3 was bad. Not just bad, really bad. It is well known to the public that it was a failure to the comic book community for it's inaccuracies. Now, with the rumors surrounding Spider-man 4, I believe that this is the only way to fix the saga...

1) No past changes: Don't fix your past sins, Raimi. I know what you are thinking Sam, don't do it. Uncle Ben's Killer is now Sandman, the black suit makes Peter dance like no one cares, Harry was Two-Face for a few minutes then a ninja Goblin. Its all in the past, make up for it.

2)One villain only: Don't overcrowd us with villains. It provides less time for thorough character and plot development. Look at it this way: Spider-man 1 with one villain: Good, Spider-man 2 had one villain also: Great. Yet, Spider-man 3: three villains= Bad. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

3) More cameos and villain nods: Let me ask you reader, wouldn't it be cool to see Peter walk past a billboard advertising a Quentin Beck move? Or maybe The Bugle talking about an article about Cletus Kassidy's lock up in Ryker's.

4) LIZARD: We have watched this build up for three previous movies, for god sake give him to us. The CG today cant do it, he is a formidable opponent and he also has a more personal connection to the characters and us.

5) Don't change villains: Vulture aint Black Cat's relative. Never has been, Never will be.

Alright guys, that's my opinion. Until then, I'll be on the Throne. See ya

LEGIT recommendations. I agree with all of these. Now lets hope they can execute.

i wish they'd do practical effects instead of CGI. I look at Jurassic Park I compared to 2 and 3... no contest! the practical effects look amazing! and also, the t-rex's CGI STILL looks better in the 1st movie! lol
but yes, i agree w/ you!
i think there could be a minor villian but only in the sense that they are on screen and in the story for the opening!
like Mysterio or Shocker at the beginning setting the tone, then getting arrested and what not. end of story. don't use them anymore in this movie!

@ManOfIron- I totally agree. Just have a minor villan to set the tone and get our attention during act 1 and have them being apprehended by spidey and setting up the main story. Shocker or Rhino would be my choices for the "Fall guy" in the movie.

I wouldn't be supprised to see a reapearance of Doc-Ock near the end to set up a sinister 6 storyline.

All we saw was him sinking into the river. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I spotted a DB artical with "Doc-Ock sightings" or something simular in spiderman 3. Meh, just an idea. Sounds like something they would do.

I say yes to Lizard, but the addition of Kraven wouldn't be a bad idea either. It should def be a movie with Spider-man being hunted by Kraven, and Peter focusing on how to change Conners back.

@Strangemann, there ya go. that would be great for number 5! lol i just think if they had Mysterio captured at the beginning, he could say something cliche like "I'll get you Spider-man!" which would lead up to his joining the Sin6.
i always like shocker though from the cartoons. idk why. lol rhino too. i just don't really want them to have minor roles. electro maybe. idk about him enough to give a rat's patooty.

It doesn't matter how many the villains are as long as need them.

Spider-Man 4 ,5 or 6 won't be good . Think about it man .

Pt.1 - Like everyone else , I was very excited to see Spidey on the big screen but then half way through the film I realized how boring the movie really was . The sh*t was kind of bland .

Pt.2 - They tured Doc Oc into an emotional wreck and the way the movie ended made me and my friends start a riot , a lot of people got hurt .

Pt3. - I only watched it because my friend had a "copy" and when it was over I realized that I would never be able to get those missing hours of my life back .

What did all three of these films have in common , Sam Raimi .

I agree with everything in the article except only having one villain. Spidey 3 sucked because of the story, not the amount of villains! There are so many good Spiderman villains that won't ever be seen in a movie, so Spidey 4 wouldn't hurt having 2 baddies! I personally would like to see the Lizard and Morbius as villains with neogenic nightmare as the storyline!

i also agree.the x-men films do the cameo thing and its one of the things i look forward to i hope the use beak, chamber, glob herman, sinister, and apocalypse in the next one. i also like the little nods in the iron man film and incredible hulk movie. as for the lizard if he is not in this film i will be pissed.

@Podgemeister

Even if Ock was somehow not dead, he wouldn't be evil would he? Unless he's a zombie...

deraj36 lets say doc ock was still alive ok. now what if his memories were messed up or even the metal arms took control of his mind there you have it hes a villain. and if people would think a little bit there are many ways to make it work so doc ock could be a villain again.he and lizard are my top two villains in spiderman comics my next would be venom and carnage, then kraven and mysterio, then scorpion.

one more thing you need to take note of: spiderman needs to make jokes! goodness the man was barely funny in the last three movies. spiderman 4 needs to make peter parker the comedian he is suppose to be
