Spider-Man 4 Chugs Along Hiring New Writer

If you weren’t happy with just three Spider-man movies, than you’re in luck, with Sony Pictures moving ahead with putting a fourth out in to the world.

James Vanderbilt, the screenwriter behind the movie Zodiac, has been hired by Sony Pictures to write the fourth installment in the Spider-Man franchise. The movie, which is expected to be released in 2009 (barring the strike putting that on hold) may or may not have Sam Raimi at the helm, though he is in talks.
