No SUPERMAN In SUICIDE SQUAD But He Could Turn Up In Another DCEU Film Post BATMAN V SUPERMAN

Batman has a small role in David Ayer's Suicide Squad but the Man of Steel does not. Where could he turn up next after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? Sooner than you think.

In a recent interview with Brazilian magazine Superinteressante, actor Henry Cavill has confirmed that unlike his Batman v Superman co-star, he doesn't turn up in Suicide Squad.  That makes perfect sense as it was Batman who put all of the members of Taskforce X in Belle Reeve prison.  Cavill did tell Superinteressante, that post-Dawn of Justice, Superman could turn up in the DCEU sooner than Justice League Part One.  There's a chance that he  could turn up in Wonder Woman, as Cavill stated that nothing was confirmed yet but to "watch that space".  This would be a further clue that Patty Jenkins' film won't entirely be set during World War I.

Thanks to yesterday's massive coverage on Batman v Superman from Entertainment Weekly, we now have confirmation that both Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman take place after the events of Dawn of Justice, which raises quite a few interesting questions.  Where will Dawn of Justice leave the Man of Steel?  It sounds as if this new version of Superman is still evolving, still trying to figure out how to most effectively use his powers- does he decide to train with Batman or Wonder Woman, veteran warriors and skilled fighters?  Another question post Batman v Superman is whether the Holy Trinity of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman go their separate ways?  Sure, that's what happens to The Avengers after each of their team-up films but who knows if that will be the case in the DCEU.  Maybe the seeds for the Justice League are first planted through a much smaller, initial team-up by Wonder Woman, The Dark Knight and Supes?

@EroticNeurotic - I mean, I was never expecting him to be in much after BvS. He's prolly gonna be JL exclusive or only in crossovers after this.

@Toonstrack - At least now we'll get less complaints about Batman getting special treatment. They're all building the Justice League Universe together. I hope to see more of all three of them everywhere.

Well Superman being in Suicide Squad would defeat the purpose of the Skwad....
Batman better break some necks.

@slickrickdesigns - This being the snyderverse at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Snyder's the epitome of "overkill"

Surprised people aren't making more of the fact that Suicide Squad is set after BvS - the rumor was that BvS was a prequel. The question, among many others, is whether it will move back and forth in time - does Batman capture Joker before or after the events of BvS? If it's after, then the letter from the Joker makes more sense, but it also invites the question why isn't Batman hunting the Joker during BvS.

@BestAtWhatIDo - Amanda Waller states that maybe Supermans arrival caused them to come out of the shadows . Also Joker is not as big a threat than someone with he power to kill millions of left unchecked . Also what's to say that Lex or maybe someone else wrote that message ?
