Suicide Squad: How I Would Do a Teaser Trailer

With Suicide Squad shaping up to be one of the most anticipated and weirdest (I know in a year with Dr. Strange and Deadpool) comic book movies of 2016, here is how I would do a teaser trailer for the movie based on speculation and rumors.

With a tattoed Joker, weird street monsters, and Will Smith, Suicide Squad may be the weirdest CBM of next year, and that is saying something.  But for many it is also their most anticipated, and it is definetly one of mine.  So here is how I would do the teaser trailer if it were up to me.  This all stems from speculation of how things are rumored to go, along with other things I think may happen.  So enjoy!

We open on Amanda Waller entering her office and sitting at her desk.  A dark figure then appears out of the background-Batman.

Batman:  I know what you’re planning Waller, and I do not approve.

Waller is not stunned by Batman, but instead turns and coldly says:

Waller:  In a world full of freaks we must sometimes work with them.

We now cut to images of the squad being “recruited” by Rick Flagg as Waller is narrating.

Waller: There are large threats in the world.

Cut to Killer Croc being approached by ARGUS guards in the sewers.

Waller: Threats even you can’t control.

Cut to Captain Boomerang shooting darts in a bar.

Waller: And these threats must be handled, but not by people with lives worth preserving.

Cut to Harley Quinn swinging her mallet at ARGUS guards.

Waller:  But instead by people that no one would miss.

Cut to Deadshot on top of a building about to shoot, but is instead surrounded by ARGUS guards.

Waller:  It is for the greater good.

Now the screen is black, and we hear the Joker, but do not see him…

Joker:  This sounds like a suicide mission…

Now we see him and all his freakiness, in a prison, with his bleached skin and tattooed face.

Joker:  Sounds like fun!*

Joker then smiles, showing off his metal teeth/grills (whichever it is)

Cut to the main logo:  SUICIDE SQUAD as creepy carnival music plays in the background.

Cut to Deadshot, in full gear, taking aim on the top of a building at an unknown figure.  A voiceover plays over the screen, supposedly from his earpiece.

Voice: Fire when ready Deadshot.

We now see he is aiming at Amanda Waller…

Deadshot:  With pleasure!**

*While Joker may not be part of the squad, he is rumored to be a “Hannibal Lector” role in the prison, but he would be corrected after he says “sounds like fun”
**This would probably be the last scene of the movie, if it goes how I think it would, but without the “fire when ready” which would instead be from an earlier scene.

This is great!

The dialogue is off in places though

For example I'd change Joker's line to:

This mission it...it sounds...suicidal.....fun! HAHAHAHA!!!!

And Waller's to:

We live in a world full of freaks. Why waste such a great opportunity to use them?

Great, it's got shitty dialogue but it's not bad. And also the Joker's gonna be the villain not a member of the team.

Agree with the Joker being the vilain.
I think this movie will have the sameconcept as Batman : Assault on Arkham where the movie is about the squad but Batman is in it and has a substantial role. And of course Mr. J is the vilain
