SUICIDE SQUAD: Scott Eastwood Talks 'The Joker', JUSTICE LEAGUE, WONDER WOMAN, And More

Though he's rumoured to be playing Steve Trevor, Scott Eastwood plays coy here about his role in Suicide Squad, but does talk about seeing Jared Leto's hair, his excitement to work with director David Ayer, and whether he would be interesting in returning in Justice League and Wonder Woman...

Scott Eastwood isn't willing to reveal too much about Suicide Squad in the video below, but does at least talk about his excitement to work with Fury director David Ayer and what exactly made him choose a DC Comics movie oer a Marvel one. The actor - who is the son of Clint Eastwood and a star in the making according to many critics - is also quizzed on everything from The Joker's hair to possibly appearing in Justice League and Wonder Woman as Colonel Steve Trevor, so be sure to watch the video in order to check out his reaction and then share your thoughts in the usual place.

Glad that Ayer is directing this as I really like him as a Director, especially after watching End Of Watch, which nailed the camaraderie between the two Police Officers.
Was a bit disappointed with Sabotage but then found out that it had studio interference.

I'll leave you with the best scene from Sabotage:
48% body fat.

I'm still amazed this movie is getting made. The character line-up itself is mind boggling, let alone the level of talent involved. Golden era for fanboys/fangirls.

The only movie I even started to watch with Jai Courtney was Die Hard 5 and I had to shut that piece of shit off.

I am still wandering what Joker's role in the team is going to be?

Anyways, Leto as Joker is perfect casting. As is Viola Davis's casting as Amanda Waller.

Daredevil is [frick]ing Amazing, I'm really impressed with that show.

And, yeah, I can't stand Jai Courtney, Die Hard 5 was the biggest piece of shit, I had to shut it off early too

He seems cool. This whole damn movie is interesting on so many levels!

As for Courtney - I liked him well enough in Spartacus, and pretty much forgot about every other performance of his I've seen. I do, however, think he might do a good job here. Pretty miscast as Kyle Reese, though.

Still confusing that both these guys are now Captain Boomerang...

I saw Scott on Kelly and Michael the other day, and man, this guy is boring. Every question they asked him, he gave very short answers. I was like, "Can you talk a lil more or something?"

I feel like I'm looking at a young Clint Eastwood.

Dude is the spitting image of his dad.

Hmmm that's the norm with these movies, especially when it's this early in production and they wanna keep his identity a secret.

@DrKinsolving I think jai Courtney is going to own Boomerang. I feel that he does best when he doesn't have to concentrate on his accent. Watch The Water Diviner, Russell Crowe directed it. It's an Australian film so he didn't need a different accent and he was pretty damn good.

Nah, the dude doesn't wanna spill his beans since he's under an NDA and the movies are in early production.

But obviously you'd say that since you're a MCU fanboy.

Always trying to pit dc vs marvel....his answer days it all. He just wants to work with Ayer who is a great director and that's great. It's about working with a great director and a great script. This interviewer wanted to make it seem as if Marvel asked him to be in one of their films and he said no dc....doesn't sound like that was the case we don't even know if Marvel approached him on anything. I like that he didn't make it about marvel vs dc. Classy answer

@CIAGuy I'm allergic to chilidish behavior so...I'm no MCU fan boy or whatever childish monikers they brand people on this site. I love david Ayer and I'm a big suicide swuad fan. I just felt like he was a little corny in the interview for a supposed smooth guy. But, if you wanna make it about all this navel vs dc bs, that's your prerogative...I guess
Kr08
Kr08 - 4/12/2015, 6:29 AM
@ComicsBornAndBred The reason why the interview was off or awkward was the reporter, she comes off too strong and asks questions she knows he can't answer. You're right that Marvel/DC question was received with class, something the reporter lacked lol

I wonder why they do stuff like this.
Do they gain anything by it?

It's obvious they took scenes from MOS(when he's trying to fly) and other mmovies.

"little corny in the interview for a supposed smooth guy."

WTF is that even supossed to mean?

He's under an NDA contract, he can't say anything until the studio authorises it.
If you didn't know that the only child here is you.
You were talking out of your ass, and yes you are a fanboy, every chance you get you take potshots, don't even pretend otherwise.

@MatchesMalone - I know how you feel, will watch it again at a more leisurely pace. Daredevil gaves us the Dark Knight fans deserve. Which makes sense in a way since Miller's Daredevil came before his Batman work and heavily influenced his take on Batman. It's safe to say, without Miller's Daredevil, the modern Batman wouldn't exist.

Would gladly give up Jessica Jones/Luke Cage for a season 2 of Daredevil, hope they cover Elektra and Born Again in the next series. The wait will be unbearable. It was a work of art.

Eastwood looks quite a bot like his father. If he's half the actor Clint was, he'll do fine. Big fan of the Man With No Name.

@CIAGuy

I can understand that, but Kelly nor Michael asked him any questions about Suicide Squad. They were asking him questions about The Longest Ride. I remember they first asked him about the plot of the movie and he replied with, "The movie is based on a book The Longest Ride written by Nicholas Sparks". That was it...lol
