Suicide Squad has been a hot topic for a long time and it's buzz has been helping most of it's little-known characters get some spotlight, most notably Harley Quinn. With Margot Robbie's being praised in the mostly negative reviews for the film, it seems Harley Quinn is an A-List character. Because of those reasons, the first issue of her Rebirth issues sold big.

'Die Laughing' Part 1 written by Amanda Corner sold 400,000 copies at release and got positive reviews, unlike her big screen debut. While nothing is official, it seems  that with the popularity of Suicide Squad and it's explosive marketing, it seems logical that it would sell pretty well. Here's some of the variant covers for the issue.

Harley Quinn: Rebirth #1 is available and Suicide Squad is out in cinemas.

Figuring they're all expendable, a U.S. intelligence officer decides to assemble a team of dangerous, incarcerated supervillains for a top-secret mission. Now armed with government weapons, Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc and other despicable inmates must learn to work together. Dubbed Task Force X, the criminals unite to battle a mysterious and powerful entity, while the diabolical Joker (Jared Leto) launches an evil agenda of his own.

Cool how we live in an age where minor characters like Black Panther and HQ are outselling the A-Listers

I really dig Amanda Conner's work! I'd go far as to saying she's my favourite so far. I've picked up her takes on Power Girl and Harley Quinn, and I thought those were a fun blast all the way through!
