Back when the first few trailers for David Ayer's Suicide Squad were released, some eagle-eyed fans managed to spot what looked to be Harley Quinn's (Margot Robbie) iconic jester outfit. It seemed as though the fans were grasping at straws, but that all changed when Margot Robbie revealed that she had tried on a variation of the Harley jester outfit at the beginning of the film's production.
Well, it looks like those fans were right. New Suicide Squad B-roll footage has made its way online, featuring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn pulling out her jester outfit before tossing it on the ground. There is another moment within the clip that features director David Ayer guiding Jared Leto as the Joker through a scene with the same jester outfit being worn by a Harley mannequin.
Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5th, 2016.
It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, with Raymond Olubawale as King Shark, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Common as Monster T, and Adam Beach as Slipknot.
