Yesterday, Joe Manganiello appeared at the Oz Comic-Con in Melbourne and one fan is claiming to have learned something very interesting about his future as Deathstroke. Before we get to that, though, let's recap his role in the DC Films Universe. The actor first appeared as Slade Wilson in test footage for The Batman which was shot on the set of Justice League but that didn't go anywhere.

So, now he's no longer going to be the lead villain in that movie, the Justice League after-credits scene probably won't go anywhere, right? That solo movie seems to be stuck in development hell but what about Suicide Squad 2? Are we going to ultimately see Task Force X taking on the Injustice League?

Well, one Redditor claims to have spoken to Manganiello during a signing and he reportedly "confirmed" that Deathstroke will battle the villains in that sequel. This should obviously be taken with a pinch of salt for now, of course, but it definitely leaves us with a lot to think about and it would be great fun seeing Slade Wilson outmatch the entire team if they were to go to war with each other.

What do you guys think of this rumour? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts below.
